Castlefield Community Centre is a Child Safe Organisation.
We offer a variety of programs for children and their families.

Classes

Wednesdays (school term) 9.45am - 11.30am
Morning Playgroup
We welcome babies, children, Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers to our playgroup.
The sessions are structured so adults have a chance to chat and connect whilst their little ones
play and participate in activities. Our playgroup facilitator Christie ensures there are a range of
activities to suit babies and toddlers, including circle time and outside play in our playground. Adults are required to participate in the group and are responsible for the care of their own
children.
$6 per family per session payable on a term basis or $10 per family on a casual basis

Tuesdays (school term), 4.15pm - 5pm
Busy Feet
BusyFeet is a dance and movement activity for children with intellectual and physical
disabilities, aged 6 to 16 years. The participants will experience happiness, and develop
more self confidence, through the movement of dance.The group is run by a qualified dance teacher with the children being supported 1:1 by a volunteer. All volunteers have a Working with Children check.

Sportzbuzz
Sport, physical fitness and life lesson coaching for kids. We motivate kids to be active, healthy, fit and focused. We give 2 to 5 year olds the opportunity to enjoy exercise and be exposed to our wide range of sports. With our fun educational approach to sport, small, busy buzzing classes, innovative equipment and experienced instructors, your kids are guaranteed to have a ball.
Specific age group sessions will be held. First Sportzbuzz session is FREE, give it a go!
We also run Sportzbuzz parties.

Adolescent
Expressive Art Therapy
Expressive Art Therapy operates creative art therapy sessions for adolescence with disabilities. The program is facilitated by a qualified counsellor and the program is tailored to individual needs. The program enables the participants to build confidence in communication skills, self-awareness and resilience in a fun and supportive setting.
No previous experience required, and cost includes art supplies. NDIS funded Support Available. Sessions can be run online or face-to face in a small group.

Mini Maestros
A fun and educational music program for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. This popular program stimulates young minds, builds confidence and fosters a love of music.Classes are age-specific to cater for children’s developmental stages. Your role as a parent
or caregiver is also unique in follow-up activities to help reinforce concepts learned in class.
